I recently bought X-Plane on the steam summer sale. The out of the box experience was worse then stock P3d. Looks worse, aircraft feel like their on rails, aircraft systems are very basic, sloped runways were pretty cool though. Kerbal developers have allowed impatient gamers to go crazy with Kerbal Space Program mods, and created Kerbal SpacePort to share their creations. Recently released are HD and UHD options of X-Plane 11 Mesh scenery V4 – an add-on that is drastically improved over its predecessor, V3.
